NATIONAL PRESIDENT -- Dannis Priest

 

Mr. Priest has served as NAIL Executive Secretary since 2006 and as President of NAIL Local 2 for five years prior to retirement.  He was previously employed at SUPSHIP Newport News from 1981 until 2007, holding the positions of Safety Specialist, QA Specialist, Supervisor and QA Specialist.  Dannis was also employed at Norfolk Naval Shipyard from 1974 to 1981.  Mr. Priest retired from federal service after 32 years of service. 

 

NATIONAL EXECUTIVE SECRETARY -  Mark Bridges
 
Mr. Bridges has/is serving as NAIL Local 2 President since January 1, 2008 and also serves as the current NAIL National Executive Secretary.  In addition, he serves SUPSHIPNN as the Chief Facilitator, with 15 facilitators, a Command Partnership member, Employees Activity Sales Rep, Quality Assurance Project Coordinator and SFLRP member.  He has been employed by the Federal Government for over 31 years and has held Union offices ranging from Steward to President.  In his free time, he runs a small business from his home.
 

NATIONAL VICE PRESIDENT - Randy Sommers

 

NATIONAL TREASURER - Diane Roberts

 

In addition to serving as National Treasurer, Ms. Roberts is the NAIL Local 5 2nd Vice President and NFS Chief Steward.  Diane has worked for the federal service for over 22 years with the Army Non-Appropriated Fund payroll center, NAF Financial Services (NFS), which is now a DFAS satellite office of DFAS – Indianapolis located at Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, Texas.  Began as an Accounting Technician, and currently a Civilian Pay Specialist.

 

NATIONAL REPRESENTATIVE -- George L. Reaves, JR

Mr. Reaves, a graduate of Virginia Polytechnical Institute and State University with Bachelor Degrees in Management and Public Administration, has been an advocate for labor in the federal sector since January of 1978.  Prior to serving as a Federal Labor Representative, Mr. Reaves worked in the federal sector at both the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Colonial National Historical Park.  As a Labor Representative, he as hands-on experience in representing Locals and Union members in all aspects of Federal sector labor/management relations.  He has served as a representative before arbitrators, the Federal Labor Relations Authority, the Merit Systems Protection Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Office of Personnel Management, the Office of Worker's Compensation Programs, and various other federal agencies.  He has negotiated countless collective bargaining agreements at the National and Local level, with numerous federal agencies including the Department of Defense, the Department of Veteran's Affairs, the Department of Transportation, and the Environmental Protection Agency.  In the bargaining process, he has extensive experience in negotiability appeals before the Federal Labor Relations Authority and in resolving impasses with the assistance of the Federal mediation and Conciliation Service and the procedures of the Federal Service Impasses Panel.  As an organizer, he has obtained certifications or over fifty new bargaining units and has represented before the Federal Labor Relations Authority cases regarding every type of representational petition issue.  As a Trainer, he has conducted Local officer and steward training classes, established and coordinated regional training programs and spoken as well as put on workshops at National seminars and conferences.  Mr. Reaves is a long standing member of the Society of Federal Labor Relations Professionals.
