National President - Dannis Priest

Mr. Priest served as National Executive Secretary prior to becoming National President in 2007. Dannis held the position of President of NAIL Local 2 for five years prior to his retirement. He was employed at SUPSHIPNN from 1981 until 2007 and had held the position of Safety Specialist, Supervisory Quality Assurance Specialist and Quality Assurance Specialist. He was also employed at Norfolk Naval Shipyard from 1974 to 1981 and retired after 32 years of federal service.

National Executive Secretary - James Olds

Mr. James M. Olds Jr. has served as President for Local 18 ASD Norfolk from 2010 - present.  He also has served as NAIL National Executive Secretary from 2010 - present.  James started his civil service journey in 2005 and is presently employed at Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk, Virginia in the Aviation section as a material delivery unit motor vehicle operator WG-8 (leader) and is still proudly serving two positions within the NAIL Organization.

National 1st Vice president- Doug Mehring

Mr.  Mehring has almost 34 years of Federal Service at Scott AFB, IL in the 375th Civil Engineer Squadron and will retire at the end of 2017. In his local union he has held the positions of Combined Federal Campaign Labor Rep, First Vice President, Executive Vice President and since 2012, President. In 2015 he lead the effort to leave NAGE and become NAIL Local 19 which has led to a stronger local union and more vibrant membership.

National 2nd Vice President - Kathleen Davis Gillerlain

Ms Gillerlain served as National Treasurer prior to becoming 2nd Vice President in 2013.  She served as treasurer of NAIL Local 2 for a number of years prior to her retirement.  She was employed at SUPSHIPNN from 1987 until 2011 and held the positions of Price/Cost Analyst and Contract Specialist.  She is currently involved in the care, nurture and rehoming of abandoned and homeless dogs through the Gloucester County Animal Control facility.

National 3rd Vice President - Ms. Elita Brown

Ms. Brown has 11 years of Federal service as a government employee.  She became a member of NAIL, Local 2 in 2008.  Served as 1st Vice President of Local 2 from 2011-2013 and currently holds the position as President from 2014-present.

National Treasurer:  Lena Craft.

Employed 32 years in Federal service, retired in 2012.  Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, worked as a computer specialist, Information Assurance Manager.  Served as NAIL’s first Local President and participated in the negotiation of the first NAIL Local contract.  Held positions as Local 1 President, Local 1 Vice President and National Vice President prior to serving as National Treasurer.

National Representative - George L. Reaves, JR

Mr. Reaves, a graduate of Virginia Polytechnical Institute and State University with Bachelor Degrees in Management and Public Administration, has been an advocate for labor in the federal sector since January of 1978.  Prior to serving as a Federal Labor Representative, Mr. Reaves worked in the federal sector at both the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Colonial National Historical Park.  As a Labor Representative, he has hands-on experience in representing Locals and Union members in all aspects of Federal sector labor/management relations.  He has served as a representative before arbitrators, the Federal Labor Relations Authority, the Merit Systems Protection Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Office of Personnel Management, the Office of Worker's Compensation Programs, and various other federal agencies.  He has negotiated countless collective bargaining agreements at the National and Local level, with numerous federal agencies including the Department of Defense, the Department of Veteran's Affairs, the Department of Transportation, and the Environmental Protection Agency.  In the bargaining process, he has extensive experience in negotiability appeals before the Federal Labor Relations Authority and in resolving impasses with the assistance of the Federal mediation and Conciliation Service and the procedures of the Federal Service Impasses Panel.  As an organizer, he has obtained certifications for over fifty new bargaining units and has represented before the Federal Labor Relations Authority cases regarding every type of representational petition issue.  As a Trainer, he has conducted Local officer and steward training classes, established and coordinated regional training programs and spoken as well as put on workshops at National seminars and conferences.  Mr. Reaves is a long standing member of the Society of Federal Labor Relations Professionals.
